Description
BLOCK OF THE MONTH
This fun achievable quilt is designed with 52 little blocks, which we are running as BLOCK OF THE MONTH. The idea is to build up your embroidery skills as you go. The applique is done using pure wool felt from Holland – this 100% Merino Wool Felt will not stretch or pill. Most of the applique is done using Perle #8 Threads & also a few Perle #5 Threads. It is designed for all skill levels, if you haven’t done any wool applique work this is a great way to start. It is a great travel project as all of the blocks are small and easy to do ‘on the run’.
Each month you will receive the patterns & instructions along with blocks consisting of Felts & Fabrics (except Threads) but on request we can supply a Thread Pack. There will be clear instructions for the embroidery and how to do the applique and make the block. When you have completed all the 52 blocks you will get instructions for cutting the sashing and borders and putting the quilt together.
