Description
This fresh and dapper book is a pure evocation of British charm! Little girls in Liberty dresses invite themselves into many quilt and accessory projects, bringing a breath of freshness and originality, a sort of Sue’s trademark.
Sue Stichbury is English and passionate since her earliest childhood by the world of fabrics, buttons, laces and ribbons. She also likes to tell stories and does so through her works, including dolls that she stages. She is a designer, embroidery and patchwork teacher and signs her very first book here. Quilts, pocket squares, sewing accessories are pieced, appliquéd, often embellished with easy embroidery and made in a palette of delicate pastel colours.
Twenty-six projects are beautifully photographed and fully explained with their life-size templates in the pattern insert. We want to do everything because it’s simple, delightful and accessible whatever the level of expertise!
